पीजीआईका प्रवक्ताका अनुसार कुलमित मक्कडको ६० वर्षको उमेरमा हृदयघातका कारण निधन भएको हो । हिमाञ्चल प्रदेशको धर्मशालामा रहेको अवस्थामा उनको निधन भएको हो ।
उनी सन् २०१० मा प्रोड्युसर्स गिल्ड अफ इण्डियाका सिईओ बनेका थिए ।
