सरकारले नेपालमा बिक्री हुने सबै प्रकारको पेट्रोलियम पदार्थको मूल्य घटाउने तयारी गरिरहेका बेला निजी पम्पहरुले डिपोबाट ईन्धन उठाउन छाडेका थिए। इन्धन उठाएपछि मूल्य समायोजन हुँदा घटेको मूल्यमा बेच्नुपर्ने अवस्था आएपछि निजी पम्पहरुले डिपोबाट तेल नउठाउँदा बजारमा अभाव देखिएको हो।

आयल निगमले बजार मूल्य समायोजन गर्न ढिलाई गर्दा बजारमा इन्धन अभाव देखिएको हो। निजी पम्पहरुले मूल्य समायोजन पश्चात मूल्य घट्ने आँकलन गरी सस्तो मूल्यको ईन्धन उठाउने धुनमा लाग्दा उपभोक्ताहरुले सास्ती खेप्नुपरेको हो।

सरकारी स्तरबाट संचालनमा रहेका राजधानीका पेट्रोल पम्पहरुमा सोमबार इन्धन भर्नेको लामो लाईन देखिएको छ । निजी पम्पहरुमा पेट्रोल सकिएपछि सरकारी पम्पहरुमा उपभोक्ताको लाईन बढ्दा ईन्धन असहज भएको हो।

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बजारमा कच्चा तेलको मूल्य गिरावट भइरहेको तथा भारतको रिफाइण्ड तेलको मूल्यमा समेत केही गिरावट आएकोले सरकारले मूल्य समायोजन गर्दा इन्धनको भाउ घट्ने सम्भावना रहेको छ। निगमले आज साँझसम्ममा मूल्य समायोजन गर्ने सम्भावना छ।

कोरोना भाइरसको कारण कच्चा तेलको मूल्यमा गिरावट आइरहेको बेला भारतमा पनि पेट्रोलियम पदार्थको खुद्रा मूल्य घटिरहेको छ। नेपाल आयल निगमले इण्डियन आयल कर्पोरेसन (आईओसी) ले पठाएको भाउअनुसार १५/१५ दिनमा पेट्रोलियम पदार्थको मूल्यमा समायोजन गर्दै आएको छ।
